Linkin Park: Nottingham Arena -January 24th 2008

The arena was dark. A curtain covered the stage adding to the crowd’s anticipation. An epic introduction echoed throughout Nottingham Arena. Silhouette’s danced behind the curtain, teasing, taunting the waiting mix of fans with their veiled presence. Finally, the curtain fell to the ground as the band launched into their lead single ‘What I’ve done’.

With a night full of excitement and memories courtesy of Linkin Park’s stage charisma including; Bennington’s leaping from the stage into the middle of crowd during ‘Given Up’ to scream into the crowd his powerful 18 second roar, and drummer Rob Bourdon’s flawless assault throughout his adrenalin filled drum solo for ‘Bleed it out’.

After all they had delivered so far, you’d be forgiven for thinking that was your lot!

Well, You’d be wrong! normal_IMG_0124 Linkin Park: Nottingham Arena -January 24th 2008

Returning to the stage with a powerful ‘A Place for My Head’, Bennington once again launched himself off the stage down to the fans, with fellow vocalist Mike Shinoda left on the stage smiling and teasing, before jumping down and taking his place next to Bennington into the pit.

With Shinoda ending breathless before screaming out and questioning “one more?” the vocalist’s rejoined the rest of the band on stage with their finale, “One step closer”.

Ending the night climatically with an extended outro, leaving the crowd begging and screaming for more, they would have to wait… for now!
