Festivals. What’s the first thing you think of when you hear about British Music festivals. Music, Beer, Fields, tents, rain and mud…maybe investing in a pair of wellies? In the run up to our second festival of the summer
Bands around the world rave about British (and European) summer festivals – “There’s something about it, there’s a vibe that happens when you get here. You almost feel like you’re home” Corey Taylor told Download’s ‘Lowdown’ interviewer Adam at this year’s festival.
Alot of festivals in the US are 1 day per city touring events, taking the festival to the fans (i.e Warped Tour, Uproar, Mayhem, Taste Of Chaos, Ozzfest…) Yet, in the UK in particular, fans and festival goers travel across the country to spend their weekends in potentially muddy fields and don’t regret it for a second.

So why? We decided to use our Download Festival experience as a way to find out why. During our weekend we had the ups, the downs and a downright awesome time, we got sunburn, we got soaked in the torrential downpour and covered in mud, and we wouldn’t of had it any other way.
—We’ve been swamped lately so Part 2 coming up pretty soon hopefully before we disappear off to Sonisphere!
